SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
BIRIS is designed to command detonate explosives and pyrotechnics by UHF digital radio signals. BIRIS is intended for the remote initiation of explosives and pyrotechnics for conventional demolitions and battle simulation.
BIRIS comprises of one transmitter and up to ten receivers, each receiver capable of initiating ten firing circuits allowing a complete system to initiate up to 100 firing circuits.
