System Design
Morfire® is designed for employment within a Mortar Platoon to transmit battlefield information and fire orders from a Mortar Fire Controller to a Mortar Command Post. Target information is converted to firing data, and subsequently transmitted by data or voice to individual barrels. The system is proven in service on combat operations.
The components of the system are lightweight, capable of battery powered operation and suitable for all mortar applications: self propelled, dismounted or airmobile mortar operations.
Operators will find the computer simple, fast, accurate and efficient, all with reduced training time over equivalent systems. This offers significant capability payback on investment.
